Phone numbers with the 775 area code prefix originate from the state of Nevada, covering the entire state except for Clark County. While the service area encompasses a large, seemingly rural expanse, over 80 percent of its numbers are concentrated in the far western part of the state, primarily around Reno and Carson City.
Northern Nevada - Reno, Sparks, and the state capital Carson City - is served by the 775 area code. Tesla Gigafactory HR departments, Renown Health appointment lines, and Nevada State government offices are among the most frequent callers from this code.
