Give your callers the option of leaving a message or sending you an email, EASILY.

Just change your voice mail message as follows:

"Please leave a message at the tone, or send us an email at the number you just called, including the area code, at thisnumber.com. So email us at 214-898-6161 at thisnumber.com."

Someone has phoned you and you want to give them your email address

Does something like this sound familiar? "Sure you can email it to me. My email address is s_mahr@mahrco.com. Now that's s for sugar, then an underscore. That's the long dash that you get when you use the shift key and the dash or hyphen together. Then mahr. Not ma or marr it's m for mother, a for apple, h for harry then r for radio. Then the "at" sign .......etc." Then of course they read it back to you and you correct them.

Wouldn't it be easier to say, "Sure you can email it to me. My email address is the phone number you just called, including the area code at thisnumber.com. So it's 214-898-6161 at thisnumber.com."

You have called someone and want to give them your email address

Ask, "Do you have caller ID?"... "Great then you have my phone number. You can also email me at the same number, including area code AT thisnumber.com, that is '123-123-1234 AT thisnumber.com,' all one word, no spaces."

You have left a phone message for someone

Now you can say, "Please call me back at area code 123 123 1234 or you can email me at the same number, that is 123-123-1234 AT thisnumber.com"

You meet someone and want to give them your phone number and email address

Write down. Phone number 123 123 1234, email 123-123-1234 @ thisnumber.com. There is less likelihood of misreading a number than a word.

You have employees like a maid , lawn or pool service

They can tell your customers, "Our office phone number is 123 123 1234 or you can email us at the same number, 123-123- 1234 AT thisnumber.com." Your employees already know your company phone number, why make them learn something new?
